Food is delicious closest thing to true Cuban food in Mineapolis. The ambiance is cozy with great music. Its a self service place which is fine. Weve had the lechon asado, fish, steak, kids meal consits of steak tips with a side and rice. My daugjter loves it. It reminds us of home(miami). Try the yuca fritas!

Stopped here for their date night paella special. Had a reservation and we were seated right away. Parking is not too bad to find and the place was popping. We had called earlier to see if they could do the seafood paella without the chorizo (since we don't eat pork) and they said that wouldn't be a problem. We ordered their special, lobster bisque and yuca fries for apps, mushroom and Valencia paella for entrees and a white and red sangria for the drinks. The bisque was good and the yuca fries were great with a nice sauce to go with it. The sangrias were great and refreshing. The mushroom paella was really tasty and had a nice little spice to it. Unfortunately they couldn't do the other paella without the chorizo but they were able to substitute it. So I chose the picadillo which was quite tasty with the ground beef and black beans cooked well. The flavors melded well together. The ambience of great with very cool vibes. They had a live flamenco music and a dancer. It was warm and cozy with a festive atmosphere. We will be going there again.

WOW! Went here for the first time yesterday and inhaled the food because it was so delicious, that I decided to order it again today to take photos lol service was great, I got a cafe con leche and the barista came over to make sure it was to my liking! So kind! The style and the music of the restaurant made me feel like I was transported to a tropical place! It was great! Will definitely become a regular! Also, I highly recommend the rotating juices they have as well!

Food is good ! I would recommend for pickles on a Cuban and a little more mustard ( and I don't like mustard, but it's what makes the Cuban sandwich. Overall loved the food ! 10 stars on the tostones ( fried green plantains) you won't be sorry getting it and the sauce !! On par! Ambience is quaint. Very busy for lunch time which is wonderful! The service was Pleaseant we got our food pretty quickly. If they have the steak sandwich available I recommend it!! Overall doesn't look busy from the outside but it's super busy on inside that's a great thing. Expressing machine was down other wise I would have loved a cortadito ( Cuban expresso shots) overall I enjoyed everything I had there! Must try it !

Excellent experience! First time coming here and will definitely be back! The staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous. They answered our questions about the menu and made some recommendations. The food is so delicious and the meats are cut-with-your-fork tender! Everything was cooked well -- meats well marinated and tender, rice cooked perfectly with flavor. The environment was welcoming, like I was invited to a friend's home. Eating outside was also pleasant, and not too much traffic. Excellent! Thank you for a great experience and we will be back for more!!

I took my brother here for a brunch while he was in town, and this spot blew us away! The inside is so cozy and cute - perfect cafe vibes or get dinner/drinks with a friend. Service is at the counter and was very friendly and quick. We opted to sit outside on their patio in the summer sun. The umbrellas have seen better days, but it's a great little patio! I went with the breakfast menu and did the vaca frita hash - so rich and meaty and delicious, very filling. My brother got the Cuban - a no brainer at a Cuban cafe! - and he raved about it. We split their Tres Leches Latte and that was spot on for flavor. Highly recommend for a drink or bite in the area!

You have to get the patatas bravas -- the potatoes are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the sauce they come with is chef's kiss. The first time we went, they were out of chips, so they offered a side of the potatoes instead which was really nice! Everything else we've tried has been good too (the cubano, shrimp bowl, lechon asado). The interior is cute, and there's also a small patio. You order at the counter, and the service is fast.

This was so close to a 5 star for me! My friend and I went here for my birthday dinner and we got: Cuban sampler Chicharron de pollo Steak and shrimp Al Ajillo White sangria The sampler was absolutely delicious. My friend and I loved the croquettes. she said that was her favorite. It was crispy on the outside and creamy inside. The pork belly was so yummy too. The sauces they gave were all very tasty and perfect for what we had. My friends chicharron de pollo was delicious. Flash fried chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Highly recommend. My shrimp and steak however needed more seasoning. I'm not sure what was up with that but the sauce and the steak both needed more seasoning. It was a bit bland. I also wish I had more rice but that's just a personal amount preference since I looooove rice! The plantains and shrimp were my favorite part about this dish. Plantains were perfectly caramelized and the shrimp was seasoned well and wasn't over cooked. The white sangria was delicious though! Not too sweet which can happen easily with white wine. The service was great. They were busier when we arrived but the food arrived at a decent time. I would love to go back and give them another chance because there was more pros than cons.
